About the role:
Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
- Comply with the company Life-Saving Rules while performing work inside company premises
- Effectively participate and contribute to company EHS programs and initiatives
- Comply with all EHS procedures (SOP) and work processes such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Procedure, Permit to Work (PTW) Procedure, Work at Height (WAH) Procedure, Confined Space (CS) Entrance Procedure, Hot Work Procedure and etc
- Comply in reporting and highlighting any plant EHS/Process incident or near misses
- Comply with company training requirements
- Participate as team members in Risk Assessment (RA) development, Management of Change (MOC) implementation and Pre-StartUp Safety Review (PSSR) activity
- Responsible to ensure plant, work station, control room and individual locker cabinet is maintaining in good housekeeping conditions and comply with company 5S procedure
Emergency Response
- To attend fire fighting training and be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT)
- To participate in company emergency drill and response exercise
- Be familiar with term function and operation of the company fire fighting system and safety gear (Including SCBA and Bunker Coat)
Operational
- Responsible to operate Both Hot and Cold DCS consoles which include process monitoring and parameter adjustment in order to achieve production targets without any safety issues or non-compliance
- Study processing schedules, engineering recommendations, lab analysis results to determine sound changes in process unit control
- Record and compile DCS operating data for monitoring purposes and take necessary actions if any deviation or abnormalities observe
- At a time, go to the site to do site monitoring and observe flame pattern at the incineration unit in order to optimize the production process
- Coordinate start-up, shut-down and normal operations/maintenance activities with Operation Supervisor and Operation Technician
- Perform basic calculations for determining process parameters and material balances
- Responsible for alarm management of the DCS and ESD systems and provide valuable input to manage the process units
- Highlight to Supervisor on duty in the event of any abnormality which can affect plant production and safety
- Perform troubleshooting at DCS/field level, resolve operational issues at DCS/field and provide support for the engineering, operation and maintenance team
- As identified, to ensure and comply with technical competency requirements such as Boiler Attendance or Steam Engineer
- Provide support for the engineering team on new project initiatives and implementation
- Participate and proactively contribute in any type of root cause analysis i.e WIR
- Support any other site activities as delegated by the Operation Supervisor or Operation Manager

About you:
- Minimum GCE N Level certification with min of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in ISO-tanker unloading, incineration system, waste heat boiler system, and water treatment operations will be added advantages
- Candidates with Manage Working at Height Training Certificates and Accessor Work Inside Confined Space Training Certificate is a plus point
- Candidates with 2nd grade steam engineer, class 1/2 boiler cert are highly encourage to apply
- Candidate attended fire fighting training certificate, Site Incident Commander (SIC) certificate and had experience as part of CERT team members is a plus point as well
- As identified, candidate to be open to step up as shift supervisor coverage in the absence of shift supervisor
- Must be prepared to do either in rotating shifts or normal day working hours, overtime, weekends and Public Holidays depending on schedule assigned
- An effective team player with good communication skills
