Candidates are expected to:-
- Take lead in planning and deployment of marine resources
- Take lead in enforcing marine crew discipline
- Perform compliance checks to ensure personnel and safety at the base and onboard craft
- Arrange for daily diesel orders and attend to bunker deliveries
- Coordinate with Fleet Engineering team on the repair and maintenance status of harbour crafts and equipment
- Update daily records of craft movements, deployment, and craft breakdowns
- Perform regular checks and surveys on the status and upkeep of base equipment and
- Assist Section Managers in operational assignments and projects.
The ideal candidate should preferably:-
- Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Marine) / Maritime Business / Business / Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to remain calm and make logical decisions under stress and emergency situations
- Be proficient in using computer and mobile device applications/systems
- Be proficient in MS Office and
- Be willing to perform shift work (Candidates will be entitled to shift and applicable allowances).
.Monthly salary advertised is basic salary. Monthly gross salary includes shift, special transport, and meal allowances, where applicable.
