We are representing a client who is a global trading company specializing in the physical trade of petrochemicals and petroleum products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Issue contractual agreements for sales and purchases post-transaction.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with traders to address any discrepancies, missing details, or inappropriate terms etc.
- Thoroughly examine master Letters of Credit (LC) to verify compliance with all terms before prompting customers to initiate LC.
- Coordinate timely opening of LC prior to shipment.
- Prepare necessary customs documentation for clearance procedures.
- Compile and present documentation for sales LC.
- Create document instructions for brokers, owners, or suppliers.
- Provide timely updates on vessel movements to suppliers and buyers.
- Calculate and file claims for any demurrage charges incurred.
- Monitor payment and settlement progress.
- Maintain an organized filing system for every shipment.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in multicultural communication environments.
