Job description:
1) Issuing of air-tickets, coordinating with land operators, booking hotel rooms, restaurants and attractions directly)
2) Ensuring datelines are adhered to (deposit, full payment, issuance and promotion)
3) Assisting product planners to watch costing closely (profit & loss, land & ticket costing)
4) Updating OB system and to give clear instructions to facilitate counter staff for sales and follow-up
5) Solving operational problem and maintaining good working relationship with airlines and overseas suppliers
6) Liaising with the airlines, overseas land operators and transportation operators for travel arrangement for groups.
7) Familiar with airline booking system Amadeus, handle travel operations including reservations of tours & hotels, air ticketing, travel coordination and staff support
8) Providing assistance on pre and post departure requirements
9) Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time
10) Participating in travel fairs/roadshows
Other requirements:
1) Minimum 4 years of experience working in a TRAVEL AGENT as Operations Executive
2) Able to work as a team player, also can handle multi-tasking
3) Able to work independently
4) Attitude to actively challenge
5) Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
6) Exceptional listening and analytical skills
7) Knowledge and skill in Amadeus (GDS)
8) Must be bilingual - English and Chinese
9) Proficient in Microsoft Office
