Operations Executive (Commodities Trading)

Our client, a commodity trading house, is looking for an Trade Operations Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cargo operations and vessel operations
• Manage all aspects of shipping logistics, including coordination with carriers, scheduling, and ensuring timely deliveries
• Prepare and vet sales and purchase contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle shipping and banking documents (L/C, B/L, invoice etc.)
• Handle recover claims and demurrage from counterparties
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any operations-related issues promptly
• Ensure that all deals are accurately inputted into the system in a timely manner

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in maritime, supply chain, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience within a physical trading house
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Independent and able to manage priorities
