Operations Executive - Internship

Business Engineers Asia (BEA) is extending a unique opportunity for candidates who are fresh graduates, or keen to learn about strategic warehouse management, especially in e-grocery / e-commerce including cross border operational management. This opportunity is also open for anyone looking for a career switch intoOperations Management (Singapore + overseas operations). This is a supporting role, reporting to the Senior Management. The internship period is for 6 months and upon the completion of 6 months, if the candidate is suitable or if the candidate is interested to continue, BEA review on training for the overseas operation plus extend a minimum of 12month contract to work in Singapore and also oversee our overseas operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, has the ability to multi-task, beflexible and adaptive. The candidate needs to build good customer relationships - internal and external, identify customers needs to adjust operational requirements and resolve basic operational issues independently (within the guidelines / SOPs). More importantly, we are looking for candidates who are willing to learn, have empathy and truly understand the challenges and needs of SMEs or micro SMEs. It is a role that requires heart (empathy), as skills can and will always be acquired through training (but not empathy)!

Responsibilities

• Basic warehouse management (the BEA way) and cater to online and offline operational requirements
• Lead the warehouse team and work cohesively to run the daily operations
• Assist the Senior Management in our upcoming overseas setup (fulfilment and warehouse operations in India and Poland)

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree - with or without experience in warehouse or operations management
• 01 years of warehouse to operations management (not compulsory)
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English is a must + other languages is a bonus)
