The Operations Executive plays a vital role in the daily trade operations of refined oil products, ensuring
seamless end-to-end order processing. This position involves facilitating the storage and deployment
of products to clients while effectively resolving any conflicts that may arise.
Possessing good teamwork and communication skills, he/she is able to work with other functional
teams across local and regional borders to facilitate the smooth operation of trade transactions.
He/she is organized and meticulous, enabling him/her to thrive in a dynamic workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal and external counterparties, assist with contract signing, submit applications for payment, invoicing, and other approvals through the internal system.
- Review and modify Letters of Credit (L/C) drafts, and ensure proper submission of related documents.
- Follow up closely with every step of related shipment, passing documents/information to related parties.
- Maintain business ledgers, update business data in company's system and ensure its accuracy and relevance.
- Perform month-end reconciliation, following up on customer payments.
- Carry out and support other duties assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in international physical trade operations, preferably in a commodities trading company.
- Strong understanding of international refined oil products shipments and related trading operations processes.
- Familiar with the import and export business and the international trade process.
- Familiarity with trade-related documentation (contracts, L/Cs, shipping, inspection, and insurance documents).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain trust and integrity within a team.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues
