Operations Manager (Aviation Services / Fuel Management) - Island-wide

Job Summary:

The Manager ensures compliance with safety, quality, environmental regulations, and data governance. He/She oversees fuel stock planning, fuel quality, and complex maintenance approvals. The role also involves managing emergency response plans and handling strategic contractual issues with customers and stakeholders.

The Senior Manager supports business continuity, leads strategic growth and digital transformation, and drives continuous improvement. He/She manages staff development and optimizes resources and operational efficiency, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Fuel Operations:

• Oversee fuel farm operations and ensure fuel quality.
• Plan and review fuel stock based on demand forecasts.
• Address fuel losses with appropriate action plans.

Maintenance Management:

• Approve complex maintenance work and manage equipment issues.
• Escalate significant issues to senior management as needed.

Compliance and Standards:

• Develop and implement business continuity and emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and data governance standards.
• Review and update SOPs and oversee audits to address non-compliant findings.

Customer and Stakeholder Relations:

• Manage strategic contractual issues and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead organizational and digital transformation projects.
• Guide continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resource optimization and operational efficiency.

People and Financial Management:

• Oversee career planning and development for staff.
• Manage departmental budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions, control costs, and improve recruitment and retention rates.

Requirements:

• Degree in operations management preferred.
• Experience in aviation, airbase (RSAF), and/or fuel farm operations is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
