We are currently looking for a a Business Development Manager to join our distribution team. The role is based in Singapore. We offer attractive remuneration with commission and the opportunity to join a high-performance team.
Lead on secondary market operations, including but not limited to trading/settlement, funds handling, statement issuance and record keeping according to policies and SOP- Support custody operations on trading/settlement, funds handling, and reconciliation.
Liaise with external trustee, issuers and investors on operational queries and corporate action
- Liaise with secondary market issuers to ensure listing rules are adhered to
Liaise with Product/Tech team on platform bugs and propose enhancement for operational gaps- Liaise with Finance team on fees chargeable for investors and issuers
Liaise with third party vendors in areas relating to custody and secondary market operations
- Involve in updating and optimizing operational procedures and requirements
Support in the KYC/onboarding process on prospective/existing clients and issuers, including ongoing due diligence and periodic review- Undertake maker role in the KYC/onboarding process and liaise with Compliance team to ensure AML/CFT requirements are adhered to
Support the implementation of new projects, systems or business initiatives from operational perspective
- Prepare data, analysis and reports on periodic basis
Undertake administrative duties and other assigned duties
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial industry (preferably with a CMFAS licence holder).
In-depth knowledge of the Securities & Futures Act, its relevant notices and guidelines
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with local and international clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.- Meticulous personality with a proactive approach to operations and execution.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
