Job Description

Business Systems Integration and Transition:

  • System Configuration level of working experience with deep understanding of SAP EC/ WMS/Manhattan WMS/Bastian WMS to support transformational projects regionally.
  • Experience of working in globally scaled project footprint or large-scale transformational projects using major ERP system to define operational processes to achieve YoY financial targets.
  • Lead end to end implementation of global distribution center that involves people, process, and technology.
  • Coordinate with IT solution vendors for smooth SIT & UAT
  • Act as pivotal contact for cutover activities, Dry run, master data management.
  • Support Project Go-Live and Hyper Care.
  • System defect handling through IT vendor SLAs and escalation handling when necessary
  • Post stabilization activities and establish run books.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors to evaluate best in class IT solutions and bring insights to organization
  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics Management (Offline and Online)
  • Act as strategic partner with regional Logistics to ensure the best quality of inbound shipment service (OTIF).
  • Strategic air, ocean and air & ocean planning to optimize inbound Logistics cost
  • Identify outbound Logistics strategies to support different business channels and customers.
  • Establish a robust outbound Logistics service with multiple delivery 3PL to ensure a reliable and accurate delivery to customers in different sales channels.
  • Ensure OTIF outbound delivery customers with optimal delivery cost.
  • Perform RFP (when necessary) to identify the best-in-class outbound delivery service 3PL and the optimal outbound freight rate for local deliveries including DTC.

Routine DC Operation Management with customer facing

  • Closely monitor the operation to ensure that SLAs and KPIs can be achieved.
  • Ensure that operation is in compliance with customer's operational policies and guideline.
  • Ensure data accuracy of all operation transaction, especially data synchronization between WMS and customer ERPs
  • Monitor sales invoicing to ensure that all orders follow sales cut-off recognition requirement.
  • Liaise with different vendors (warehousing, facility administration, last mile delivery) to ensure smooth E2E operation

Performance Review, Audit and Meetings

  • Closely connect with OM team, DPIM team, Online and Commercial to understand business operation needs to plan for resource.
  • Weekly resource planning meeting with operations to ensure optimal resource to support business needs.
  • Monthly business review meeting with operations to ensure that floor is clear on customer's strategic business direction and appropriate warehouse operation strategies are in place to support customers.
  • Perform monthly KPI review meeting with operations to ensure that operation is on track.
  • Perform monthly cost and productivity analysis to improve operation efficiency.
  • Support to perform audit as per customer's requirement.
  • Perform EHS audits to ensure that 3PL site follows customer's EHS requirement.
  • Perform ad hoc QA check as per QA request.
  • Lead QBRs/MBRs
  • Actively participate and support global / regional operation and EHS meetings.
  • Continuous Improvement and Development
  • Provide training / customer's knowledge / on boarding orientation to critical warehousing staff.
  • Review and initiate continuous improvement projects (e.g. lean, Kaizen) with operations to improve warehouse operation as per business needs, participate into organization's global, regional and affiliate projects and provide strategical advices / support to the projects.
  • Liaise with various vendors to provide strategical solutions.
  • Annual Budget Planning, Execution, and Improvement
  • Understand business guideline and targets to plan for annual D&L budgets.
  • Define annual D&L strategic initiatives as per Supply Chain strategies.
  • Liaise and align the budget plan with customer organization's key stake holders for warehousing and outbound Logistics.
  • Improvement on distribution cost

Leadership and Stakeholder management

  • Exhibit leadership qualities and lead by an example within the team, internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be working towards D&L go-to person that supports resilience and excellence in execution
  • Build and enhance existing and new organization structure to support emerging business needs
  • Succession planning of each Key resource in the department

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, or Logistics
  • SAP ECC/WMS/Manhattan WMS/Bastian WMS
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI & SAP BI
  • Sound education and solid experience in System transformational implementation projects/ Program management/Business analytics in supply chain/Distribution & Logistics in Manufacturing/FMCG /Beauty industry
  • Systematic decision-making with good analytical skill
  • Strong planning skill with strategic mind
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence individuals, internally and externally, across all levels and functions.
  • Self-motived and able to work under pressure
  • Strong customer service and client focus
  • Strong commitment and can-do attitude
