About the role - Operation Manager

This is a great opportunity for someone to join the team and learn the ropes of exhibiting and organizing a wide variety of conferences around the APAC and Europe regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience planning and internal project management - Devise the experience plan with project team and implement it accordingly.
- Brainstorm and implement the event experience plan
- Conduct briefings to internal staff before any event
- Ensure IMAPAC presents a high-quality event on the day and continually work to improve our standard of service
- Ensure highest level of hosting events for registration, presentation and staging, conference content and delivery, catering, special events and entertainment
- Create and review attendee lists (speakers, guests, delegates, sponsors/exhibitors) and all name badges are 100% accurate
- Help speakers, sponsors, exhibitors with the contact system
- Maintain event costs are contained and accurately managed without compromising quality of service and customer experience
- Minimise and keep accurate records of all costs: technical, speaker, venue, AV and documentation
- Submit and file all invoices
- Acquire quotes for new suppliers
- Allocate accurate operational costs in event budgets monthly; post-event budgets by budget date (get all input information/invoices before deadline)
- Timely revise experience expenditure budget according to revenue
- Achieve 100% delegate, sponsor and exhibitor payments at event present invoices, disallow non-payer access, consistently communicate with GM
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, both tactical and strategic in nature achieving both time and budgetary deadlines.
- Ability to handle stress, show resilience and adapt to changing market trends and quick to learn
