Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

. Planning the operations for exhibition and auction preview

. Set up the gallery display, including hanging the paintings, moving sculptures and pedestals, adjusting lighting, etc

. Pack the artworks in a professional manner and arrange them in the storeroom

. Perform delivery and installation work to the customers

. Handling all pre-auction and post-auction logistics including local delivery and import/export shipment

. Keeping record of inventory and update inventory movement

. Maintaining productive relationships with suppliers

Requirements:

. Min. 1-2 years of experience in operations

. Diploma or graduate in any arts management or related courses

. Meticulous with great attention to details

. Customer orientated with good interpersonal and communication skills

. Solid negotiation skills

. Resourceful and able to work independently

. Able to work under tight deadlines

. Highly motivated and able to undertake pressure

. Knowledge on inventory control is an advantage

. Bilingual in both English & either Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with associates and clients

. PC Literate: MS Office Applications, Adobe Photoshop

. Prior experience in the auction house or gallery is advantageous
