Lead and oversee all operational activities to ensure they are conducted efficiently and safely.
Drive service excellence across the organization by enhancing behaviours, culture, and processes related to service design, planning, execution, and follow-up.
Maintain clear and effective communication between customers and internal teams, especially regarding delivery requirements.
Manage departmental resources and budget to align with company goals.
Contribute to the creation of annual and long-term business strategies, including performance forecasting, project feasibility assessments, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with the Commercial team to assess the feasibility of new products or projects.
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, as well as company policies.
Take proactive measures to address performance issues and ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) policies and standards.
Ensure that all operations staff receive necessary training on SHE regulations to perform their duties effectively.
Continuously seek ways to improve operational processes.
Apply innovative and critical thinking to optimize processes, procedures, and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
Provide strong leadership and support the development of team members competencies.
Qualifications
Degree in Operations Management or a related field in the chemical, petrochemical or manufacturing industries.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in operations management, ideally within a similar industry.
Comprehensive understanding of operational processes, safety standards, and product knowledge.
Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams.
Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Proficient in strategic planning and operational problem-solving.
Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
