We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to join our expanding team here in Singapore:
Job Description
- Maintain the safety standards and procedures of the day-to-day operations of the vessels we are operating
- Monitor and analyze shipping costs, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Coordinating with the legal and insurance team to minimize risk and exposure
- Acting as a liaison between management and chartering
- Keep charterers and owners advised on all post-fixture activities to ensure relevant operational information is passed on timely
- Liaise with clients on resolution processes for post-fixture issues
- Handle post-fixture tasks such as freight invoices, demurrage/dispatch, and port disbursement accounts
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in dry bulk operations
- Strong knowledge of commercial, technical and operational aspects of the industry
- Understanding of the Far East & South East Asia trade patterns
