Position Summary

HOYER is seeking a Operations Representative to help support our Singapore site managing the operations of ISO tanks and transshipment activities for local and international customers. The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive knowledge of strategic thinking and planning. Candidate should strive to improve service to a worldwide user organization along with being pro-active, possess a can do attitude, and be dependable.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of ISO tanks, including coordinating import/export and transshipment activities for local and international customers
  • Oversee the scheduling and monitoring of tank container deliveries, ensuring close collaboration with customers, internal departments, agents, haulers, forwarders, and external service providers
  • Prepare and process delivery, transport, and customs documentation, as well as invoices and payment matters
  • Dispatch site traffic using the company's fleet, while supervising operational activities within your shift in accordance with social and labor regulations
  • Address customer complaints and resolve any operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, monitoring and documenting any safety concerns
  • Perform other ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification, such as ITE certificate, Diploma, or completed commercial training (ideally as Freight Forward Clerk)
  • At least 1 year of experience for ISO tanks preferred, or in a similar logistics role
  • Excellent IT-Skills, including proficiency in MS Office
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively under pressure
  • A strong team player with initiative, capable of working independently
