Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of warehouse operators and supervise all movements of physical and system of the warehouse.
• Oversee all aspects of inventory control efforts including daily cycle count.
• Ensure incoming receiving and local orders/ collection, including SAP and documentation are delivered accurately and timely.
• Liaise with customers for all documentation and other daily operational matters.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, identify areas of improvement and drive cost control initiatives.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
• Oversees daily warehouse and administration operations.
• Highest level of safety, productivity, and customer service with a constant focus on cost and efficient use of labour.
• Determines work procedures and prepares work schedules, analyses production errors and recommends/implements corrective action for assigned shifts.
• Ensures that reports, billing and labour payrolls are timely and accurate.
• Has responsibility for safe and efficient use of facility equipment.
• Communicates with Operations Manager regarding daily operational issues and events. Reports directly to the Manager.
• Meets customer and company key performance metrics, goals and objectives.
• Fosters a team environment within the facility and demonstrates strong leadership skills.
• Manages, evaluates and mentors warehouse colleagues.
• Provide training and safety briefing to operations staff.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma preferably in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and/or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics
• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Good knowledge of SAP system
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willing to travel Jurong Island and Pioneer worksites
• Candidates with more years of experience can be considered for the Senior Supervisor role
