As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- To educate patients on their refractive status and advise on appropriate optical aids available
- Perform eye examinations using specialized equipment to check patients ocular health and diagnose symptoms of any general health conditions or any vision defects
- Communicate with patients to get detailed case histories
- Keep and maintain detailed patient records of their eye health.
- Dispense and manage the inventory of contact lenses, trials and solutions
- Maintain all equipment and measuring devices to be in good working condition
Requirements:
- Diploma in Optometry or equivalent
- Registration with OOB
- Preceptorship provided for Pre-Registered candidates.
