This includes engineering, project management through the pre-construction planning, critical path development, construction / fabrication / site management, commissioning and hand over. It is looking for two Painting Supervisor cum Inspector.

Role & responsibilities

Painting Supervisor cum Inspector

Responsibilities

. Comply with the specifications, control and monitoring the activities

. Responsible for quality control of all painting works, including standards and procedures etc.

. Prepare documentation like painting procedures, ITP, galvanizing procedures, or any other procedures specified by clients

. Review painting specifications from paint manufacturer

. Take the ambient conditions in the chamber and modules with proper intervals and keep records

. Arrange qualification test for Blasters/Painters and certify them

. Check for calibration date of the measuring device, to arrange for recalibrationif it expires

. Inspection notification to be sent to respective clients on time

. Pre-inspect modules at each stage and ensure quality meets the specification

. Prepare painting reports on time with approval from clients

. Coordinate with external party for technical details

Requirements

. Diploma in Engineering

. Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations in the same field

. Prefer with NACE Level II Coating Inspector certified

. Knowledge of blasting and painting operation

. Understand and able to interpret technical drawing and paint specification

. Detailed understanding of contractual, commercial, safety, technical, quality aspects and their application

. Able to work under pressure and respond to changes in short notice

Permanent - 5.5 days work week | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm
