Parcel Walker (Part-Time/Full-Time)

SG Local / PR only.

1x Parcel walker required for Tampines, must have Android phone + Data (or we can rent a phone for u @ $20 monthly), able to read and speak english, able to read and follow instructions. All parcels are shoebox size or smaller. Training, Trolley & bags provided.

Area to cover:

891-893 Tampines Ave 8 (6 blocks, single lift lobbies)

Per Parcel Rate

Base rate $0.50/parcel

Modifiers if u want:

Skip initial sorting - -$0.05/parcel

Scan and pack for you - -$0.10/parcel

Full-Time (Mon-Sat + Occasional Sundays or PH)

Monday to Saturday work and 2 Sundays a month need work. Some PH might need to work but its rarely so, if unable to commit to sundays but still can do Mon-Sat we also welcome.

Part-Time (minimum 4 days a week)

Must be able to work at least 4 days a week

Estimated Monthly Earnings:

Earnings not much as not alot of blocks cover, and you will typically end work before 2pm daily. Want earn more cover my blocks (subject to availability)

Full-Time (Mon-Sat + Occasional Sundays or PH) $650-$950

Part-Time (4 days / week) $400-$500

General Workday:

9.30am report to sorting area, sort all parcels to clusters then arrange own cluster parcels into blocks.

Start delivering, approx 20-60 parcels/hour can be done depending on density of parcels, ur speed, ur phone etc

Lock up trolley, return bags and go home once done

If opt to skip initial sorting, then report @ blk 894 approx 1 or 2pm , collect your parcels, scan, pack and go deliver.

Required:

1) Android phone with data + whatsapp to use courier apps (recommended to have a phone just for work, or we can rent one for you @ $20/month)

2) Reasonably fit (this job involves alot of walking around and carrying / pushing moderate loads)

3) Fairly ok eyesight to ensure you see the right unit and address on label

4) Able to read and communicate in English

5) Able to read and follow instructions and protocols

Good to have:

1) Staying in Tampines (Best if staying in one of the blocks in the area)

Additional Notes:

1) Monthly paid due to people stealing parcels and other issues etc (e.g. August work paid around 18th Sept, subsequent if proven then earlier pay dates)

2) no CPF as under freelance

3) Make no mistakes (or fix it when it happens) and no penalities will apply

4) no valid MC (from polyclinic or A&E) / no showup - $200 penalty

5) Failure to follow SOP and get caught by audit - $50 penalty per instance

6) 1st Day is a unpaid trial, you will tag along for initial sorting, delivery observation of 1-2 blocks, hands on practice for 1 block. If ok, next day working day and tracked accordingly.
