Part Time Art Assistant Teacher

Part Time Position Only.

Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, mediums, and styles.
2. Effectively teach students how to use them to express their ideas and emotions.
3. Provide guidance and support to students in developing their artistic skills - drawing, painting, sculpting, and other art forms.
4. Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and collaboration among students.
5. Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students artwork, helping them identify areas of improvement and celebrating their achievements.
6. Engage students with sensory play.
7. Ensure a safe and orderly art classroom environment, following appropriate safety guidelines and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.
8. Engage children in lessons, ensuring activities are fun and age-appropriate.
9. Maintain Good and Professional relations with Children and Parents.

Requirements

1. Teamplayer and able to work in a team.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, mediums, and styles.
3. Previous experience teaching art to students of various age groups (2.5-5 YO) and skill levels.
4. Passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity and artistic growth in students.
5. Enthusiastic individual that has initiative, high adaptability
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
7. Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of studio.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling art materials and equipment.
9. Able to converse in English and/or Mandarin (as will need to liaise with student and/or parents who speaks in mandarin)

Working Hours
Wed - Fri: 1pm-8pm
Sat - Sun: 9am-7pm
