Part- time Chinese teacher

Mandarinstars Learning provides Chinese tuition for Kindergarten to Primary 6 students who have difficulties learning Chinese using the traditional learning methods. Our curriculum breaks down learning into smaller manageable parts, so students are able to learn to read, write and understand Chinese language. We keep our class size small up to 5 students so teachers can dedicate their time to teach.

Job Scope

• Conduct lessons based on lesson plan and curriculum. Detailed lesson plans will be provided.
• Provide updates to parents about student progress and to upload lesson summary to parents onto the portal after each lesson.
• Mark students work.
• Prepare student progress reports twice a year.
• On-the-Job training will be provided for the successful candidate to learn how to teach and manage students with various learning needs.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 2 years of experience teaching Primary school Chinese language at MOE schools or Chinese enrichment centers.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  Team player.
• Competence in PC skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoints).
• Able to work on Monday, Wednesday, Sat and public holiday
