Job Description

We are looking for a Part-time Customer Service and Admin Assistant to join our team in handling year-end online book sales. The role involves preparing booklist, managing the online backend, processing orders, providing customer service (emails and calls), and coordinating with our retail team to ensure a seamless online ordering experience for our customers.
  • Responsibilities:
Online Backend Management: Prepare booklist and manage online ordering platform. This includes preparing the listing, uploading product information, updating stock availability, and maintaining accurate product listings.
  • Order Processing: Efficiently process online orders in a timely manner and manage delivery service backend.
Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries promptly and courteously, addressing questions related to orders, delivery times, refunds, and any other concerns that may arise.
Coordination with Retail Staff: Collaborate with retail staff to communicate on inventory level, order packing and delivery statuses, ensuring smooth logistics and on-time deliveries.
  • Requirements:
No experience required. Some experience in managing online sales operations would be appreciated.
  • Some knowledge of e-commerce platforms and backend management preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided.
Communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to provide good customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with the books and stationery industry is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Flexibility to adapt to changing demands during peak seasons.
