Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the company bus and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist our members with boarding and exiting the bus in a courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively with our members, providing assistance and answering questions, when required.
- Create a positive and welcoming environment in our bus.
- Fetch members and employees for events.
- Collect and send office and event supplies to and fro locations and office/event venues.
- Follow predetermined routes and events schedules, adjusting as necessary to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Responsible for managing pre-event and post event supplies available on the bus.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any potential issues with the bus.
- Maintain a clean and organised bus interior, ensuring all safety measures are in place.
- Report any accidents, delays, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year in a similar role.
- Possess valid Class 3 and Bus Driver's Vocational Licence (BDVL)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work based on the events schedule.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
- A good team player.
