Job Description:
We are seeking part-time English teachers to teach students whose first language is not English (mainly students attending international schools in Singapore). The curriculum may reference local school syllabuses but will also be adapted based on specific needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design flexible lesson plans tailored to students language levels and learning needs.
- Utilize foreign/local school materials when necessary.
- Assist students in improving their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Provide targeted feedback and develop personalized learning plans for students.
- Be familiar with or willing to learn and apply different teaching systems beyond the local curriculum.
Requirements:
- Excellent proficiency in English (native or near-native level).
- Prior experience teaching non-native English-speaking students is preferred.
- Familiarity with international school systems is an advantage.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different student needs.
- Patient, responsible, and able to communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Have experience in teaching of exams like IELTS, KET, PET, CAT4, WIDA is an advantage.
