- Genuine passion for working with children.
- Prior experience working in education or enrichment centre is preferred.
- Prior baking/cooking experience will be an advantage.
- Good English communication skills required to engage a diverse group of children.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Assist main teacher during baking/cooking lessons.
- Assist to set up classroom before lesson. Ensure all ingredients and equipment are readily available.
- Wash and dry all equipment and utensils used during lesson. Ensure all items used are stored away neatly after lesson.
- Engage and interact with students in a positive and supportive manner, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, including during breaktime.
- Monitor and supervise students during class, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Help to manage student behaviour as needed.
