Part Time Instructor for Choir CCA Training

Deployment:

1. Base Contract Period: 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024
2. CCA training time: Fridays, 8am to 9.30am (1.5 h)
3. Additional Weekly Afternoon Practices: Tuesdays: 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm (1.5h) and/or Fridays: 2.30 pm - 4 pm (1.5h)

• Excluding public holidays, school holidays and CCA stand down period for exams.
• The School may request for additional training session(s) for key milestone events.

Scope of Works:

• Estimated Total Hours per year: 90 Hrs/ Year
• (Training Sessions: 45 hrs + Key Milestone Events: 45 hrs)
• Estimated No of Students: 80to 85 nos
• Target Group: Primary 3-6 Students

1. To submit a proposal outline for evaluation.

2. To prepare a detailed 30-week programme after consulting with teacher in-charge after award.

3. To work with the teachers-in-charge to develop students passion and inculcate good values in them.

4. To ensure that the students attain the required competency to showcase their talent during performances at various school functions and public performances.

5. To provide piano accompaniment for performances/ exchanges/ Singapore Youth Festival.

6. To choreograph movement sequences to enhance students performances and train students for at least 5 songs a year for school-related events and Singapore Youth Festival.

7. To accompany the students out for performances, locally (capped at 5 times).

8. To be present during performances for school related events when required for conducting, mentoring or piano accompaniment services.

Requirement:

1. All instructors must be registered with MOE
2. The Instructor must have a minimum

• ABRSM / Trinity Guildhall Grade 4 in music theory and
• ABRSM / Trinity Guildhall Grade 4 in practical (vocals / singing)
