Part Time Instructor for Dance - School Compassvale

Deployment:

1. Base Contract Period: 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024
2. Training Days: Every Tuesdays - From 2.40 to 4.30pm

Number of Estimated Training Hours for Base Period 1: 55

• a. No. of hours for CCA training sessions: 49.5
• b. No. of hours for key milestones events (i.e. planned/scheduled training camps, competitions, rehearsals and performances): 5.5

Scope of Works:

• Estimated No of Students: 25 nos
• Target Group: Primary 3-6 Students

1. 1.To design, plan and implement a developmentally appropriate and progressive 30-week CCA work plan which is holistic and extends beyond acquisition of skills, knowledge and competencies within the CCA.
2. To choreograph dance routines for practices, performance and competitions.
3. To provide appropriate music and original/adapted choreography for the dance group. Contractor is responsible for ensuring that any adapted choreography used does not infringe any intellectual property rights or copyright
4. To advise school on costumes design, props and makeup needed for dance performance and competition
5. To prepare students for school-base performance (For example: School's Open House, Anniversary Celebration, Deepavali Celebration and Prize Giving Day)
6. To prepare students for external performance (such as Singapore Youth Festival).
7. To work with the teacher in-charge to develop student's passion in Indian Dance and inculcate good life skills and values in them.

Requirement:

1. All instructors must be registered with MOE as CCA Dance Instructors
2. The Instructor must have experience in teaching/ coaching Dance CCA and e - CCA in Schools.
3. The Instructor must be able to plan and execute training plan and motivate the pupils toward achieving their full potential such as external competition e.g. SYF presentation.
4. The Instructor must be able to communicate and work well with the pupils and the school teachers.
