Position: Part-Time Kitchen Assistant for Chicken Rice Store (with Opportunity to Progress to Full-Time)

Working Hours: Part-Time, 6 hours per day (Flexible Shifts)

We are a well-loved chicken rice store, known for our delicious and authentic dishes. We are looking to hire a part-time Kitchen Assistant to help our team maintain smooth operations in the kitchen. This role starts part-time, with the potential to progress to a full-time position based on performance and business needs. Starting pay is $11-$12 per hour, with opportunities for regular wage increases.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, including washing,chopping, and prepping ingredients.
• Help the cook in plating and assembling orders.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing work areas.
• Ensure ingredients and supplies are stocked and organized.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
