The School of Social Sciences, Sociology Programme is looking for Part-time Lecturers (PTL) who will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses.
We invite applications for part-time lecturers to teach courses in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- State and society
- Sociological methods
- Social policy
- Ethnicity, culture, and migration
- Southeast Asia and Singapore
- Global social change
Key Responsibilities
- Propose a new course or teach an existing course
- Conduct lectures or seminars
- Conduct tutorials and assessments for a course
- Conduct grading of course assessments/exam scripts.
- Other responsibilities related to undergraduate teaching.
Qualification
- At least a PhD Degree in social sciences
- At least 1-2 years teaching experience at a tertiary level with excellent teaching evaluation.
Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are preferred.
