Job Description:

The successful candidate will work with a team of patent professionals in the Intellectual Property & Technology Department, and will be involved in patent prosecution matters. Essential attributes include an excellent work attitude and strong communication skills with a good command of the English language, along with the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline
• Minimally 1 year of experience as a legal secretary handling Patent work in an Intellectual Property & Technology department
• Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a commitment to meet deadlines
• Conversant with Microsoft Office Applications, with a willingness to learn new technology
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
• A team player with good interpersonal skills
