Payment & Treasury Operations Specialist - 12 Months Contract - up to SGD5.5k

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Payment & Treasury Operations Specialist for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily payment inquiries and monitor SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication)/MEPS (Minimum Economic Payment Services) messages to ensure timely reconciliation.
• Process settlements for FX, Money Markets, and Bonds in full compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in Payments and Treasury projects, including testing and other operational tasks as required.
• Support fixed deposit and loan operations, along with ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of banking experience, preferably in Payment Operations.
• Strong understanding of SWIFT or DTCC (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) reporting is considered a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with stakeholders.
