Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pega Developer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with business and technical teams to translate client requirements into application features, manage change requests, and ensure the smooth operation of our Pega-based applications. This role requires a hands-on developer with experience in Pega PRPC BPM platform and the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Collaboration: Work with the project team to understand client requirements and effectively translate them into application features.
- Specification Development: Collaborate with the team to set specifications for both new and existing applications.
- Incident Management: Participate in incident management processes and handle change requests as necessary.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of applications to resolve any issues promptly.
- Application Evaluation: Assess and evaluate existing applications to identify opportunities for reprogramming, updates, and feature enhancements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business process owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess capabilities, identify user requirements, and understand high-level goals.
Mandatory Skills:
- Pega Development Experience: Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in Pega development, including creating workflows, rules, and managing the Pega PRPC platform.
Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Pega Project Releases: Experience in executing project releases on the Pega PRPC BPM platform.
- BPM Engagements: Exposure to executing large Business Process Management (BPM) engagements through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Pega Technical & Architecture Expertise: Broad technical knowledge in Pega architecture, with functional experience across various industries.
- Pega Certification: Pega certifications such as System Architect (SA), Senior System Architect (SSA), or Lead System Architect (LSA) are highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
