What youll do
The People Partner role based in Singapore is an expansion in our people partnering team as our business within the Asia Pacific region has continued to expand alongside senior management based in the region. We are looking for someone who can advise, coach, and partner alongside senior business leaders supported by data-driven insights to help achieve growth objectives, organization design, and drive support a high-performance, engaged team.
This is an ideal position for a builder, who has worked in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment, and can own and deliver on global projects requiring input of global stakeholders. You are also an expert of statutory considerations across Asia Pacific markets.
This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Build Effective Relationships: Build trust-based relationships working closely with leaders of teams and employees to acheive outcomes aligned with business goals.
Program Management: Design, build and execute on a number of high visibility people programs around employee engagement, career progression/development, compensation and benefits etc.
Talent Development: Provide coaching on matters including leadership development, workforce planning, policy and procedure, employee engagement, conflict resolution, employee relations, compensation, performance management, career development
Employee Relations: Understand and know local statutory considerations to ensure that any employee relations issues are identified, reported, investigated, and resolved
Compliance Support: Reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management, and understand when to escalate issues
Global Team: Be a Partner within our global People Team to gain alignment on people philosophy and programs where achievable, and localize programs as needed
Manager Support: Partner with and coach managers to build high performing and engaged teams, including review of employee engagement data and enabling them to lead on action plans and support execution Participate in performance reviews and help identify and develop talent throughout the organization
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years of HR Generalist / HRBP experience, including working knowledge of regional employment laws and best practices
Demonstrated success partnership alignment to build and improve company culture and increase employee engagement
Curiosity and ability to intimately understand the functions across the business, with the view that it will enable you to drive partnering effectiveness
Discretion and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Comfort working with cloud technologies such as Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Lever, and BambooHR
Very strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in a fast-growth or start-up tech environment preferred
