Personal Assistant To E-commerce Business Owner

Job Description

Preferably someone who is entrepreneurial and passionate about learning how to grow and run a successful e-commerce business. In this role, you will gain many insider connections to stakeholders as you act as a liaison between the owner and her network of business partners. You will also gain hands-on learning experience on the key strategies to win and profit in the competitive e-commerce field, as well as technical knowledge on how to manage marketplace platforms. You will have up-close interaction with the business owner in your role as you assist with administrative needs of the business and her personal schedule.

Job Role:
  • Act as a liaison between owner and the business teams, convey instructions and oversee projects on behalf of owner
Take charge of scheduling of meetings, bookings, and optimize both owner's personal calender and company calendar to achieve maximum economic efficiency
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales and marketing, customer service, and warehouse, to ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipment, and delivery
Attend to emergency situations and be able to resolve conflict promptly, have to be on call (rarely called upon unless emergency)
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize the e-commerce platform, products, and improve the user experience
Other administrative and secretarial duties
