The Pharmacy Retail Associate will provide quality customer service and assist the retail supervisor in ensuring smooth operations in the retail pharmacy.
Job Responsibilities
- Operational
- Ensure that the store is opened punctually and computer systems are user-ready
- Monitor the queue and actively respond to reduce the waiting time of patients
- Ensure that the float is ready and prepared on time
- Actively promote weekly specials and practice plus-selling
- Operating cash register and handling of cash in the pharmacy
- Ensure good housekeeping at retail trading, storage areas and at retail shop floor
- Maintain store security (e.g. stocks, premise and stored information) at all times
- Maintain proper records and maintenance of the equipment used in the pharmacy
- Monitor stock levels and replenish stocks in the pharmacy
- Maintain condition of stock to ensure all stocks are under appropriate conditions and in good saleable condition
- Perform goods receipts and handle inter-branch transfers and error reports
- Assist in cycle counts and stock takes
- Administration
- Maintain proper daily sales records
- Perform data entries into inventory system - SAP
- Assist in compiling information and filing of retail documents in a neat and organized manner.
- Assist to generate monthly reports for analysis/checks
- Staff Training and Development
- Assist to coach and orientate new staff on retail workflows and pharmacy activities
- Assist to conduct briefing for promoters
- General
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer
- Involve in work place improvement projects/ activities as and when required.
Job Requirements
- GCE N or O level qualification
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience required
- Excellent service oriented and has good interpersonal skills
- Good team player and self-motivated.
Working Hours
5.5 days work week (non-shift)
