What are we looking for
The short of it: Were looking for an experienced Planner/Senior Planner who is excited about culture, social trends and the creative craft.
Were looking for an experienced and talented planner with a background in and passion for brand strategy, craft and social strategy. Someone who can partner with our clients to sharpen the problem to answer, frame an inspiring creative positioning, and is excited to collab with the creatives to bring that vision to life. With an emphasis on creating brands people want to participate with and talk about, you will have an active interest in Social in thick of the trends and conversations happening across platforms inc. Reddit and TikTok.
Your responsibilities as a Planner/Senior Planner will be to:
Strategically lead accounts, as well as partner with the Chief Strategy Officer for new business pitches. Take ownership for all phases of client strategy - from client briefing and strategy development, guiding of creative development, to evaluating and discussing performance and optimisation
Iris Inc is our social arm and theyre killing it. We need a Planner with proven social experience to spark, inspire and add further strategic rigour to our Incs thinking.
Become a trusted confidante of your clients - who are smart, driven and ambitious - and immerse yourself in the business, culture and the world of their customers.
Contribute towards the development of the wider strategy team by collaborating with supporting planners, and by sharing interesting tools or techniques with the wider agency.
Bring your experience, enthusiasm, can-do attitude and energy.
Who are you
You have at least 3-7 years experience working in the Strategy department of a creative or Social agency, and experience of working alongside account management and creative departments.
You research with rigour. The planners role is to bring the outside voice in, meaning you love getting away from the desk and speaking to people.
You have experience working on brand strategy, including strategic propositions, interpreting competitor analysis and market trends, identifying and phrasing audience insights, qual and presenting passionately and convincingly to a range of senior clients and their wider stakeholders.
You have worked on social and content strategies.
You have local experience of Singaporean consumers and culture, of the latest shift in sentiment towards brands locally, and are aware of the local advertising and media landscape.
