Job Description & Requirements
- Compilation of all necessary information for tenders, monthly reports and presentation for both internal purpose and client
- Construction planning and liaising with clients, suppliers, building and facility contractors
- Coordination and liaison with subcontractors and authorities in relation to planning and programming matters for the various interface that exist on the project
- Liaison with Construction Managers and site team to ensure interface issues are identified and dealt with in a timely manner
- Coordinates and liaises with project team to update the Detailed Works Programme
- Maintains company, Consultants and Vendors drawing progress with Document Controller
- Prepares programme and other detailed information necessary for substantiating claims, change requests and provisions with regards to planning and programming to the commercial department
- Submission of an optimum tender programme which can meet the client's requirements/ provision of a workable and cost effective Baseline/Master Programme
- Involvement in the development and control of Project Work Schedule, such as building works, M&E and Process Systems from concept design to construction/installation to testing and commissioning
- Inputs the activity information into a project scheduling software and use an iterative process of time analysis to obtain an optimum time schedule
- Liaise with other staff & suppliers visits the site to optimise the planning effort
- Manage design progress, reporting, authorities matrix and similar management tools.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Construction
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the construction industry
- Experience in construction planning related to industrial building facility
- Understanding of Codes and Engineering Standards of International Clients
- Proficient in MS Office in particular Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project
- Knowledge of Primavera
