Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in coordination with project managers, engineers, and contractors. Ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and timelines.
Resource Allocation & Optimization: Analyze resource requirements and manage resources efficiently to meet project demands. Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend adjustments as needed.
Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress against the schedule, track milestones, and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders. Identify deviations and propose corrective actions to minimize delays.
Risk Analysis: Conduct risk assessments and create contingency plans to address potential project disruptions or delays. Proactively communicate risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between various project teams, clients, and management to ensure all parties are informed of project timelines, risks, and progress.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, project schedules, and reports in line with company policies and industry standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in work, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple project schedules effectively.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated experience in identifying potential issues, analyzing risks, and implementing solutions promptly.
