Job Description:
1. Production Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory targets.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed based on production output, equipment availability, and changing demands.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules and timely delivery of products.
2. Capacity Planning
- Analyze production capacity and identify bottlenecks.
- Plan and implement strategies to optimize production capacity and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
3. Inventory Management
- Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels to meet production requirements and minimize excess inventory.
- Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Work with quality assurance to ensure production meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize data analytics to monitor production performance, identify trends, and implement improvements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and capacity utilization to senior management.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure optimal production efficiency, meeting customer demands, and maintaining high-quality standards.
7. Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of planners and schedulers.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in production planning and scheduling within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production planning software and ERP/SAP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or specialized planning software.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for semiconductor manufacturing.
