Plant Manager (Head) - Glass Manufacturing (Based in India) #AKT

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall operations & maintenance of the glass manufacturing plant, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet production targets, efficiency goals, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of operational activities with the company's vision and growth strategy.
• Oversee daily production processes, ensuring optimal utilization of resources (manpower, machinery, and materials).
• Monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet production and quality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure product quality meets customer expectations and address any quality issues.
• Promote sustainability by reducing energy use and implementing eco-friendly practices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 15 years of experience in Glass Manufacturing
• Willing to relocate to India
