Job Description

Job SummaryAn excellent opportunity for seasoned IT Project Managers to lead initiatives to refine and optimize the company's project management methodologies. This role is crucial in ensuring that the project management frameworks are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of implementing and improving PM frameworks.

Mandatory Skill-set
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Must have 5+ years of project management experience, having completed a several full SDLC projects from initial phase to closure stage;
  • Certified in PMP or PRINCE2 with excellent knowledge of project delivery, documentation, and the content and expectation of the artifacts;
  • Must have a good knowledge of Quality Assurance and Controls;
  • Should be able work independently to conduct review, inspection, assessment and provide recommendation for corrective action and continuous improvement;
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities;
  • Possess excellent leadership, stakeholder management and project management skills;
  • Detailed oriented and able to multi-task;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skill-set
  • Project audit, governance, and compliance related experience;
  • Experience in change management.
Responsibilities
  • Developing, implementing, and continuously improving project management methodologies to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals;
  • Perform detailed phase inspections of the SDLC from initial phase to closure inclusive of verifying that each phase of the project meets predefined criteria and milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards;
  • Identify and give feedback on any project-related issues by reviewing project plans, checking detailed task lists, resource allocation, risk management plans and contingency strategies to ensure effective project handling and enhancement to project completeness and thoroughness;
  • Conduct governance and compliance checks to ensure Project Managers are adopting and practicing project management in alignment with the stipulated model;
  • Conduct thorough QA reviews to ensure the required project artifacts are present, complete, and of acceptable quality;
  • Perform comprehensive project reviews and assessments, providing detailed feedback and recommendation to senior management for improvement;
  • Lead and facilitate project and quality related discussions, formalize outcomes, and ensure follow-up on agreed actions;
  • Provide operational support as needed, assisting in various tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
