Job Scope:
- Designing electrical systems and circuits
- Analyzing the performance of electrical systems and identifying areas for improvement
- Testing electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Managing electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Collaborating with other engineers on multi-disciplinary projects
- Creating detailed technical documentation, including schematics and user manuals
- Ensuring electrical systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to teams and clients
- Improving system efficiency, reliability, and sustainability
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical systems
- Researching and integrating new technologies into existing electrical designs
- Conducting feasibility studies to assess the viability of system upgrades or new installations
- Preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and installation
- Training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in automation machine design and development
- Proficient in writing PLC application programs (e.g., Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence, Beckhoff)
- Knowledge of PC-based programming (Visual Basic, C++) for machine control systems
- Hands-on experience with schematics and electrical layout design
- Ability to guide technicians on technical matters
- Occasional travel required
