Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, specifically related to enterprise networking and router infrastructure, and translate these needs into comprehensive solution designs.
- Solution Design & Architecture: Design enterprise-level networking solutions, focusing on routers, switches, and overall network topology, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Presales Engagement: Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise during meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations, aligning solutions with customer needs.
- RFP/RFI Support: Lead or contribute to the technical response for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring competitive positioning of proposed solutions.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competing networking solutions and position your organization's offerings effectively to showcase technical advantages in enterprise networking.
- Customer Proof of Concept (PoC): Coordinate and deliver PoC initiatives to demonstrate the effectiveness and value of proposed solutions in customer environments.
- Technical Documentation & Handover: Ensure accurate and timely handover of technical designs to implementation and delivery teams post-sale to maintain customer satisfaction and project continuity.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in presales, with a strong focus on enterprise networking solutions, particularly routers and switches.
- Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching (LAN/WAN), and network design.
Expertise in configuring and optimizing enterprise-class routers and switches - Certifications: Professional-level networking certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent, are highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to articulate the business value of networking solutions in addition to technical benefits, supporting the sales team in closing deals.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve customer networking challenges.
