Squirro is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Singapore-based Pre-sales Engineer to join our vibrant and innovative tech company.
About the Role
As a Pre-sales Engineer at Squirro, you'll be a key technical advisor and product expert, working closely with our Singapore sales team to drive the adoption of our Enterprise GenAI Platform.
You'll be the go-to person for all technical aspects of the sales cycle, from understanding client needs and crafting tailored solutions to delivering compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. This role is a unique blend of technical expertise and client-facing communication, requiring a deep understanding of our products and the ability to translate that knowledge into value for our clients.
Preferred experience
- Client Interaction: At least 2 years of experience working directly with clients in a technical sales role, explaining complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 2+ years of experience in software development, technical consulting, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in building web applications and APIs.
- Experience with testing, debugging, and integrating software systems.
- Comfortable managing Linux systems and writing shell scripts.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience in managing projects from start to finish, including working with data.
Ideally, you also have
- Knowledge of search technologies like Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of and experience with Generative AI products and LLMs.
- Experience working with unstructured data.
- Familiarity with natural language processing or machine learning.
