Responsibilities:
Presales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales process.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
- Assist in the development of technical proposals and responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
- Address technical inquiries from potential customers and provide solutions to their challenges.
- Manage complex project requirements, proofs-of-concept, and tender requirements.
Advocacy and Partnership Development:
- Stay updated with the latest VMS developments.
- Serve as the voice of the technology community, advocating for their needs and feedback.
- Provide technical support and guidance to technology partners, helping them solve problems and maximize their use of our products.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, partners, and stakeholders in the industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the technology partnership in the region leading to the sales and growth of the business.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to senior management on presales activities, community trends, feedback, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely documentation within CRM/Marketing software of customer contact and activity data.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers and professionals. Set goals, track performance, and provide feedback to team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to align presales efforts with overall company objectives.
- Manage the hiring process, conduct performance reviews, and develop team technical skills.
Independent Job Tasks:
- Travel as needed within an assigned budget for trade shows, events, and clients or partner meetings.
- Field presentations for clients or partners and events.
- Develop a thorough competency of company software products and demonstration equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Bachelor in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
- IP networks and the Windows platform.
- Extensive knowledge of the entire product ecosystem.
- Preferred background as a systems integrator solutions architect.
