Job Responsibilities:
- The role involves teaching a music curriculum to preschool students across all levels, from PG to K2 (2 - 6 years old).
- Teachers will deliver a well-rounded music literacy program that includes instruction in singing, percussion, keyboards, recorder, and violin (for the upper grades).
- You will be responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing the program for your class in alignment with the center's policies, guidelines, frameworks, and philosophy.
- It's important to address each child's educational and developmental needs while maintaining accurate records of their progress through checklists, notes, photographs, and anecdotal records.
- Additional ad-hoc duties may be required based on operational needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Professional Certification in Music (ABRSM in Piano, Music Theory, Music)
- Demonstrate musical competency in at least 2 instruments (E.g. Piano, Violin, Ukelele, Guitar, etc)
- Solfege (do-re-mi syllables), Suzuki Violin, Keyboard knowledge will be a plus point.
- Creative and inspiring with loving energy
- Prior experience in classroom teaching.
- Experience teaching music to children.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
