Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Designs, plans, develops, customize, delivers, and coordinates commercial training programs for commercial employees in Asia RLM (Region Led Markets)
- Ensures training programs meets company and commercial objectives. Identify priorities of training programs aligning business objectives and local training needs.
- Initiate and maintain strong relationships, contact and communication with commercial leaders and training program participants (Marketing and/ or Sales Manager development) for follow-up and continuity to ensure transfer of learning.
- Takes the lead to evaluate and assess the effectiveness and impact of programs. Conduct periodic training needs assessments with the commercial teams.
- Collaborate with training & education (T&E) trainers and/ or marketing to ensure relevance and practical applications.
- Actively contributes to the global COE (Centre of Excellence) commercial training initiatives by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance learning effectiveness.
- Stays current on adult learning theories, learning design, curriculum development, learning facilitation, assessment of learning competence, and learning technology to deliver high-quality training programs to accommodate various adult learning styles. Prepares training materials, develops/ tailor course content, determines methodology, develops assessments and coordinates the development of training aids/ tools.
- Undertake ad hoc requests/ projects relating to commercial training.
- May evaluate and/ or oversee training vendors.
- Travel: up to 50% of the time
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in marketing and/or sales
Your Profile:
- Have taken part in a sales manager program or have sales managerial experience is an advantage
- Certifications in adult learning and/or Train the Trainer would be a plus
- Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage but also open to other healthcare industries
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience dealing with Commercial leaders such as Marketing leaders and Sales leaders at country or operating unit level.
