Principal Electronics Hardware Engineer

To strengthen our newly setup e-Bike electronics team in Singapore which working closely with team based in Europe, we are seeking for experience and passionate principal Electronics Hardware engineer that would be great if obsessed specifically with development of bicycles or electric mobility solution. In this role you will be at the forefront of architecting, developing, and integrating solutions for state-of-the-art electronics hardware for e-Bike system consist of HMI/User interface, LED light, Motor drive, BMS, etc.

How you will make a difference

Analyse system requirements to derive & design efficient electronics system Architecture solutions which are clear and concise to implement and maintain.

Design, simulate and analyse circuitry followed by ability to design PCB layout for any system/sub system within an e-bike using tools such as Altium/Mentor Expedition/SIMETRIX or LT SPICE

.Proven track record in designing electronics hardware with first time right concept meeting safety, thermal, performance and compliance to regulatory requirement.

.Having a good knowledge & relationship of Electronics manufacturing and supplier networks

.Proactively identify technical risks within projects and influence engineering teams in their resolution.

.Manage the entire life cycle of multiple related complex modules and systems, including the behavioural application, collaboration with embedded software team, manufacturing test/verification methodology, documentation, design, testing, maintenance, and result tracking.

.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in e-mobility/e-bike system, incorporating new techniques and best practices into our development process.

.Act as subject matter expert (SME) in specific domain, disseminating knowledge, guiding and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing to facilitate their professional growth and development.

What do you need to win

.Master or Degree in Electronic/Electrical or related fields

.Minimum 15 years of proven work experience & preferably working in R&D organisation of consumer electronics or appliance, automotive product.

.Singaporean or Singapore PR candidate would be priority.

.Practical hands-on experience designing MCU/MPU/SoC based electronics circuit, several type of sensors, peripheral interfacing standard, Display technology.

.Good knowledge on standard such as UL2595, IEC6100 EMC test suite, IPC A-6100 and IPC A-6200

.Understanding of the Bluetooth/ANT+/Wifi/CAN protocol and several communication interface between ICs or circuitry such as UART, I2C, SPI, LVDS, MIPI would be desirable.

.Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence or knowledge in similar Agile Project Management tool

.Ability to multitask effectively among different projects in a fast-paced environment.

.Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

.Independent, Integrity and self-driven with a strong focus on results to ensure that the whole team succeeds in its goals.

.Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
