We're seeking for a dynamic experienced engineer to join our team in pioneering submarine cable infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming power import systems and empowering the future of energy.
What You'll Do:
- Design and analyse marine structures, including those for submarine power cable installations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Review geotechnical investigations to assess soil conditions and inform design decisions related to cable laying and interfacing with onshore structures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution from design through construction.
- Review and interpret comprehensive engineering reports and documentation for project approvals and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality assurance protocols.
- Mentor site engineers/staff and provide technical guidance on marine and geotechnical engineering practices.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in marine and offshore engineering, with a focus on submarine cable installation and geotechnical engineering.
- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PLAXIS) and geotechnical analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of local marine regulations and environmental considerations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus
