This role is part of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), that manages Singapore Discovery Centre's (SDC), Singapore Airforce Museum (AFM) and Singapore Navy Museum (NM) - Sales department. The jobholder will plan, execute, and manage the sales of programmes, events, including but not limited to, pricing, day-to-day sales operations and working with internal departments to meet specifics requirements catered for each event. Successful candidate may assume as a Team Lead to manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Potentially leading a team of 2-3 Sales executives to provide guidance, directions and ensuring the team achieved the desired results individually and as a team
- Develop and maintain long term business relationships with clients by providing consistent sales service, follow up on enquiries and rapport building.
- Lead / oversee / participate in sales outreach events, trade & road shows and activities on need basis
- Provide accurate quotations to all sales enquiries in a timely manner
- Identify potential sales channels to develop strategies for new business opportunities and achievement of sales targets
- Recommend improvements that will positively impact sales and efficiency
- Coordinate, conduct visits and events enquiries visit with internal department to ensure smooth handover of events execution
- Ensure quotation to clients adhere to profit margin guidelines and expenditure to meet budget guidelines
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports and
- Update sales productivity system and review action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Responsible to manage and monitor work process from the initial account acquisition process to completion
- Prepare weekly Sales Projection report for management review.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree related (any discipline)
- Leadership skillsets will be advantageous
- Prior experience as an event sales/consultant/organiser in MICE/Tourism/Attractions will be an added advantage
- Candidate must be customer-centric and highly effective in handling call-in/email enquires
- Positive personality and can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- Commercially aware, self-motivated and proactive
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Professional bearing and good command of spoken and written English
- Great passion in the Singapore Story will be advantageous and
- Team player.
